Startup and Tech Marketing
I have had the privilege of working with startups and tech companies as a contractor and full-time employee, where I wore many hats and was responsible for generating top-, mid-, and bottom-funnel acquisition, growth and revenue.

• Developed marketing strategy and led execution of growth marketing programs and campaigns. Built and executed marketing plans (audience, metrics, channels) that drove consumer adoption.

I was responsible for generating MQLs and SQLs in higher education through an omni-channel digital marketing strategy.

• Increased qualified student leads by 50% within two years. Led development and execution of digital strategy to increase admissions pipeline through email marketing, targeted messaging, better user experience, and lead generation.

• Advised internal stakeholders on content strategy, email approach, and landing page best practices. Translated email metric analytics, analyzed positives and opportunities, and helped optimize content, landing pages, CTAs, and user experience against business and recruitment goals.

Developer / Bootcamp Marketing
I was responsible for generating qualified developer and data scientist leads using an extensive email marketing and marketing automation strategy. In this role, I:

• Increased our email list and user activity for newsletters and student programs by 25%+. Improved program submissions and generated better leads and subscribers through testing, segmentation, and user feedback.

Lawyer Marketing
I helped 40+ personal injury law firms all over the country get and maintain high search presence through organic search optimization, technical SEO, link building and paid search acquisition. By conducting a robust search engine marketing strategy, I was able to increase their customer acquisition, drive more traffic to their site and increase their conversions through levels of testing and iteration.

• Raised agency revenue by 15% and increased client leads by 30% using lead gen, advanced SEO, paid acquisition campaigns, and content marketing.

• Implemented fundamental and advanced PPC and organic/technical SEO for as many as 20 clients at a time. Used effective email marketing and lead generation strategies to optimize top-level funnel acquisition.

• Developed company’s first-ever plan to grow email database, increasing database from fewer than 50 emails to 2000 within one year. Created marketing content and customer personas. Outlined customer journey and drip campaigns. Designed and implemented email templates.
