Lake Samm Church

Web Design, WordPress Development, Marketing Strategy, Analytics

Project Description

Lake Samm Church had a very outdated website that needed a lot of attention: their presence wasn’t responsive, they had lots of duplicate content on their site, they lacked content and marketing strategy, and they needed to update the overall look and feel to be more modern.

The solution was to create a marketing strategy that was in line with their design and content overhaul. I created the strategy for them and redesigned the site to focus on a) three key personas and b) three key areas of improvements. I revised their layout and restructured their content pieces to make it suitable for church seekers and goers to get what they need easily and efficiently.

Old Design

The old design was unresponsive, had multiple areas of duplicate content, and wasn’t properly designed with the user — and user acquisition — in mind. The site was created and maintained with an older business perspective, and needed a much better online presence to attract more traffic, better quality engagement, and overall better responses/conversions to their goals.

Better Usability

The transformation of the site made it easier to view the important things the pastor deemed necessary to achieve their goals, and at the same time made it more applicable for its audience. Instead of a convoluted navigation, the content is more streamlined, making it easy for users to find what they’re looking for with minimal issues.

Responsive Feature

With a newer design and more responsive feature, church members won’t have to squint and enlarge the screen to see content on their tablets and mobile devices.

Church Marketing Strategy

In addition to building the church a new website, I also provided a digital markting strategy and tactical execution to help them achieve their marketing and creative goals, both as a church and as a digital presence.
